BETA notice: Things can change and not everything work as expected, but the website is stable enough
Departing from my usual policy of not basing games on TV series, this game is set in the Stargate series universe. It begins with reports of an attack on a highly classified research colony on the fringes of the Milky Way. The archeologists had uncovered evidence of a civilization possibly as advanced as the Ancients. The story begins with an investigation of the planet where the attack took place by the Odysseus, a next generation starship built along the same lines as the Daedulus. Upon arrival the ship will discover most of the colonists missing or dead. The site was a find important enough to pull in General Carter, Dr. Daniel Jackson, and Dr. Beckett who are among the missing.
This game will need a team of specialists, both military and civilian, to investigate the attack, determine the fates of the missing expedition. There is also an indigenous population of humans who have never heard of Gould, Wraiths or Ancients except from stories told by the expedition members.
This game has been moved to http://www.ongoingworlds.com/games/310 Skillsets, biographies, physical descriptions, and general personalities should be included. If the character is considerably different from what the player wishes posted, an email should be sent to the moderator ... and a comment added to the character submission. This game is just starting so most positions are open. Please, no ranks above Lt Colonel, preferably Major or lower. I would however like at least one player is this rank, but I do have an NPC Major that could assume the role.
