Now in the year 2387, we still search for the same thing as our predecessors did. To the next star, to the next planet, to the next nebula; what is there to see next? This question has plagued us from the beginning. The USS Arctic is one of the newest Century-class vessels in Starfleet and seeks to answer that question in the face of the possible and impossible put before it by Starfleet and foe alike. Commanded by Commander William Tigh, the Arctic will be the guiding light of the Federation where darkness has taken roots and the driving force of exploration where mysteries wait to be solved and discoveries wait to be made.
