Operating out of this base is the Galaxy-class USS Athena, a ship with a long and colourful history.
The Athenas mission is to explore the wild and untamed region know as the Delta Triangle. The Triangle is a vast sector that causes starship systems to malfunction and making navigation virtually impossible. It was also believed that the region was uninhabited but the Athena, having developed new technologies to negate the effects of the Triangle, has begun to discover countless inhabited worlds.
If you crave adventure aboard a vessel whose sole purpose is to seek out new discoveries and tame the Delta Triangle, then the Athena is the ship for you.
