I have been searching for interesting PBEM games to read and follow lately, without much luck. I have mostly been searching for games with a fantasy setting, but I am open for other types too. Found a lot of Startrek games, but I would like to explore games in other genres. I have looked through lists with all kinds of games and I am very dissapointed with the results. I didn't find any games that I found interesting, and to much surprise I found out that most of the games had lousy webpages.

I would think having a nice webpage would be one of the best ways to get a visitor to stay on the site and eventually sign up to join the game. What's the point in advertising a game only to have a potential new player turn away at the doorstep just becuase they can't figure out where to click - or worse, if the new player can't read the text.

If you know of an interesting game, please leave a comment and I'll check it out! The same goes if you have examples of good (or bad) webpages.

This year in February, I'm glittering around the server and play many many more this type of game. Honestly, it's because my 11years old PC can't support almost nowaday game.

Accidentially (or luckily), I found Phoenix : Beyond the Stellar Empire @ www.phoenixbse.com . I read the front page and said, this is very interesting game. I will try this. A result, I am very excited at this game and many nights I stay awake for this.

It's not the normal game, believe me, you don't master it just in one or two month :) But, the mate in this game is very friendly, asking will not harm you.

One more thing, I'm also searching other PBeM game which you suggest the best one. Any idea here :)

I'm the GM of a game themed around the TV sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf, our game is called "JMC Blue Dwarf" and I think it's pretty unique to the genre - I havn't been able to find any other Red Dwarf themed PBEM games.

JMC Blue Dwarf been running since 2000.

I'm one of the co-GMs of WAR (aka World Alliances and Rivalries), a geopolitical PBEM. It's been running in some form for -years-, but we recently (in March) rebooted from our previous current-day starting point to a near-future (2013) setting. We could use players, and lurkers are always welcome; just contact the GMs.

I am currently running two versions of the Kaldor in Flames campaign: The older of the two http://duttond.topcities.com/Harn/Kaldor/index.html has been running almost continuously since the late 1990's. The newer version http://duttond.topcities.com/Harn/index.html has recently been started due to the number of players in the other game. I also have a Sci Fi game ready to be started as soon as I have at least one more player. http://duttond.topcities.com/Triangle/ It is Star Trek but only superficially so. At the start, there will be more Blue Planet and Cyberpunk than Star Trek.
